Summary:
GM CONDUCTED TWO RECALLS, 95V-246 AND 99V-130, FOR 741,486 MODEL YEAR 1992-1994 C/K EXTENDED CAB LIGHT TRUCKS, EQUIPPED WITH FRONT HIGH BACK BUCKET SEATS OR 60/40 SPLIT BENCH SEATS. THE BOLTS ATTACHING THE SEAT BACK TO THE RECLINER MECHANISM COULD LOOSEN, FATIGUE, OR FRACTURE. IN A PAST INVESTIGATION, GM STATED THAT THE 2-DOOR FULL SIZE UTILITY VEHICLES SHARED THE SAME SEATS AS THE C/K TRUCKS. THIS INVESTIGATION IS OPENED TO DETERMINE IF THE UTILITY VEHICLES BASED ON THE C/K TRUCKS SHOULD BE RECALLED AS WELL.
