Component : SEAT BELTS:REAR Date Investigation Opened : September 15, 1999 Date Investigation Closed : February 22, 2000 Summary: ODI has received seven complaints of alleged rear seat belt retractor problems on model year (MY 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora and MY 1995-96 Buick Riviera vehicles. The complaints state that the retractor mechanisms fail to retract the belt webbing, thus not providing secure fit for the occupants. Three of the complaintants stated that a spring in the retractor had failed. All of the complaints have been received since August of 1998. Check to Request Research. Submit below.
