The front disc brake rotors of these vehicles may experience severe corrosion if operated for an extensive period in the "salt belt" states. Owners in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia will receive replacement rotors that are coated with a different corrosion protection coating, Inorganic 531.
